We provide the freshest ingredients in delicious dishes, the highest quality wine, craft cocktails, microbrews, and a great overall dining experience in a relaxed, casual but elevated setting. As a host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming and memorable experience from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave.
Job Description- Greet and warmly welcome guests as they enter the restaurant, providing a positive and friendly first impression.
- Manage the seating and reservation system efficiently, ensuring accurate tracking of available tables and guest preferences.
- Effectively communicate with the rest of the team team to ensure a smooth and timely seating process.
- Assist in coordinating the flow of guests, balancing seating availability and table turnover to maximize efficiency.
- Anticipate and accommodate special requests or needs of guests, such as highchairs, wheelchair accessibility, or special occasions.
- Maintain a clean and organized host station, ensuring menus, promotional materials, and necessary supplies are readily available.
- Assist with daily opening and closing sidework
- Be a team player to help out in other areas as needed
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service-oriented role is preferred but not required - a positive attitude and willingness to learn is! .
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during busy periods, ensuring a smooth guest experience.
- Ability to collaborate positively with other staff, servers and the kitchen team
- Familiarity with reservation and seating management systems is a plus.
